Very good smoked meats I only go here for my bbq fix when i dont grill at home.If real smoked taste is what your after'with a bark and flavour, this is the place. I just got some very dry brisket(for the first time) , called and took it back and they took care of me fast with some free desert and apologized for the miss hap.mistakes happen,but the return was painless and the brisket i recieved was fatty and cooked to perfection. AGAIN THIS IS A EXCELLENT SPOT FOR FANTASTIC...

We usually get a multi meat platter and sides and I have yet to have something I didn't care for. The sweet potato mash is 10/10!!
We did however pick-up some sides recently to take to a gathering and the Mac and cheese was not like it usually is, chalking it up to a one off- hopefully.

We just had a lovely meal at the Wood Pile in Madison Heights. It was such a beautiful day today and their front patio is so nice. The food was pretty good. I had the burnt ends and macaroni and cheese but I also tried the candy bacon the St. Louis style ribs, the greens and the beans. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Upon our arrival but you had to stand in line at a register and place your order and they brought the food out to you. But if you wanted another...
