Darcie at this location makes the whole experience worth it. I have never had such incredible service at a fast food establishment. She is sunshine even when the sun isn't shining. She knows the menu. She knows how to greet customers. If anyone needed to understand how to treat other humans, go see Darcie! Whoever owns this place needs to award this woman. Thank you for a great experience!!!
I do not live near an A&W and when we saw this it was a nostalgic must do! The burgers were purchased were great, juicy and large enough I had to leave some behind. The root beer floats were great. We have no complaints about this visit. We hit the drive through so I have no idea what the inside was like.
We're both boomers, so we grew up with A&W drive-ins. Sadly, most of them have closed down. We recently heard about one still open in Manistee, MI, which is only about 35 minutes away so we headed there the very next day. We each got coney dogs, onion rings, and a root beer, and everything was fantastic! Maybe even better than we remembered. The onion rings in particular were top-notch. They were hot, very crispy, and delicious. I'd say they were easily the best...
