My wife and I came down from Suttons Bay for a quick getaway and stopped in for a bite and some drinks. The bartender was super friendly and we felt like we were back home in our little hometown bar. The food was great. Drinks were perfect. We met the owner and he is a great guy. Definitely recommend if a small local bar is your thing.
This appears to be a local place so if you’re from Manistee it would probably be a good place to hang out. But being from out of town the noise level makes it hard to have a quiet, relaxing dinner. We came on a Friday evening and I ordered the baked lemon pepper salmon with their redskin potatoes. My husband had the perch basket. The plus was that there was a lot of food. The minus was that it was just ok. The salmon was actually steamed in foil and brought to the table still...
Cool local place, usually busy so you know it is a good value. I felt it was a shade overpriced but I'm talking 15%. Burger was good! Had live music when we were there, the guy was great.
