We stopped here on our way home and was pleasantly surprised by one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dishes tasted better than they looked. The laid back high end atmosphere was only made better by the exceptional service. I can't wait to stop in again the next time we are in town.
My wife and I recently went to Bluefish to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, looking for someplace "special" to mark the occasion. The restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, our host made us feel special, and the food was terrific. We will return soon.

Being a former executive chef in Detroit, I try to leave any criticism on a level to learn from in a review. I recently had the Walleye with Asparagus and Risotto. Everything except the pricey fish was perfectly prepared. The Walleye was so dry and leathery towards the thinner part, it was inedible. I could not eat it.
