“A really nice pub in downtown Manistee. We came for dinner after shopping and this seemed like the nicest Pub in the area. I think we were correct. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were almost full and they sat us right away. The food came out very quickly as well. You can tell this was an Irish pub at one time, it still mostly feels like one, but with an Americana twist. They have a nice beer selection of local craft brews as well as a good mix of domestic and imports. The food was all really good. We had apps, sandwiches, meatballs, and Mac and cheese. I could recommend any of them.Highly recommended.“
“Beyond a 5 star rating the food is amazing!!!! We ate at 2 different restaurants in manistee this weekend and nothing tops this place!!! I will definitely be back and be bringing my family with me! The prices and the food are perfect!!! Thank you painted lady saloon!!! Can't wait to come “
“This doesn't seem like the same place as the previous reviewer visited. We went for the Friday night fish fry and had a good time and enjoyed the food. Only one of us got the fish fry of paddock. Others had the 3 tacos special, the fried Alaskan cod, and the Caesar salad with chicken. We all enjoyed the food. The service was excellent so we left a generous tip. We ate upstairs, which was more casual and less stuffy than the white-clothed tablecloth seating downstairs. Good night out overall.“
“AMAZING food! Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's ALL amazing n fairly priced! We had breakfast there n it was only $8.99 for the breakfast I got, which was pancakes, eggs, sausage n toast. There was so much food, I had to take some of my pancakes home ? everything was hot n fresh off the griddle, server was very friendly n checked in on us to make sure everything was good. I absolutely love this place! It's so cozy feeling, I just love it!“
“We stopped here on our way home and was pleasantly surprised by one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dishes tasted better than they looked. The laid back high end atmosphere was only made better by the exceptional service. I can't wait to stop in again the next time we are in town.“
“I love North Channel! Everything I've tried on the menu is great. My favorites are the Caesar salad, the cheeseburger, and the onion rings with the honey. The food is always the same great quality, but I do miss the fried pickle chips! They were the best. The Sawmill stout is great, but they could use some more dark beers - browns and porters!Summertime it gets super busy, but it's worth the wait. I think the food quality matches the price, and the portion sizes are plentiful.Staff is always friendly, even when they are clearly overwhelmed with tables. The gluten free bun is overpriced at $4 extra....but most restaurants in the area don't even have that option.“
“If you love crab, prime rib, and/or shrimp, it’s worth the price ($50 per person). Otherwise don’t go. There aren’t a lot of other offerings. Since they reopened after COVID, they reduced how much food they offer but I’ve had no complaints about the quality of the food. Whereas before, the crab would be completely dried out at least 25% of the time, the prime rib would be either too rare or too done. Now I’m happy with all of the food quality. This is for the Friday and Saturday night buffet. I’ve never been to their week night buffet.“
“Thursday night is Mexican night and the fiesta chicken nachos were delicious! Ryan, Tanya, Tammy, and Cassey were crazy busy and did a great job keeping it together and keeping the customers happy. Food is great, staff is great, drinks are cold.“
“Visited the area on vacation and was told about this little gem by word of mouth. I was very surprised by the food. Priced was great, food was excellent as well as the service. Keep in mind, this is a small restaurant, they fill up fast. I went when they were busy and waited about 15 minutes. It was well worth it. On my way out, I bought their Fireball Maple Syrup. It was so good that I bought another before leaving for home.“
