“This doesn't seem like the same place as the previous reviewer visited. We went for the Friday night fish fry and had a good time and enjoyed the food. Only one of us got the fish fry of paddock. Others had the 3 tacos special, the fried Alaskan cod, and the Caesar salad with chicken. We all enjoyed the food. The service was excellent so we left a generous tip. We ate upstairs, which was more casual and less stuffy than the white-clothed tablecloth seating downstairs. Good night out overall.“

“Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon watching the Lions. They have a great blueberry cider option for this non-beer drinker. The toasted ravioli & chili were very good. The waitress was great managing the whole front room on a Sunday afternoon.“

Grab some pizza or a salad from Portage Point Pizzeria and Cafe' with an ice-cold beer from Lahey's Pub and relax on the porch. Beautiful Portage Lake makes for an amazing view! “A really nice pub in downtown Manistee.We came for dinner after shopping and this seemed like the nicest Pub in the area. I think we were correct.The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were almost full and they sat us right away. The food came out very quickly as well.You can tell this was an Irish pub at one time, it still mostly feels like one, but with an Americana twist.They have a nice beer selection of local craft brews as well as a good mix of domestic and imports.The food was all really good. We had apps, sandwiches, meatballs, and Mac and cheese. I could recommend any of them.Highly recommended.“
