“We went to Whippy Dip while visiting family a few days ago. My son has several food allergies and he could eat the Dole Whip safely. They let us check an ingredients list and made sure there was no cross contact with dairy or nuts in his order. Their allergy training is fantastic here! My husband and I got turtle sundaes and they were good. Highly recommend!“

“We love Val du Lakes! We've been to the Mears, Michigan area twice now, and we've enjoyed going to Val du Lakes both times. We were there this year during Heroes Weekend honoring veterans with Val du Lakes being a major sponsor, and they really did it up right. The weekend event was a great one for veterans and non-veterans alike. When we return again, we'll plan on visiting this restaurant and tavern. The staff, food, drinks, and service are wonderful. It's a place of fun and laughter.“

“While travelling I always try to visit/support a local restaurant. This little gem had easy on/off highway access.
I ordered the perch special with onion rings. Well, the onion rings are their star attraction. The entire meal was great and priced accordingly. Just don't get the fries and try the onion rings. You won't be disappointed.“

“Expectations exceeded! This isn't your basic food options bar and grill. We were hungry yes. It had been a long drive but the first bite tasted as good as the last bite. Our server was very helpful and had great recommendations. We just needed to weather to cooperate a little longer but the large umbrella kept me dry! If you are driving through or staying for a few be sure to stop and grab some dinner. I promise it will not disappoint!“

“Food was good! Service wasn't bad, just didn't know if we should seat ourselves when we walked in. No one said anything, so we chose a place to sit and it took long enough for someone to come over to our table that we almost left.“
“I come here once a year, with family + friends. We all camp in Pentwater the same time every year. Last week we showed up at 4pm with over 20 people...and guess what happened? We were taken care of like nobody's business.
Our entire crew got everything they needed and the Hart Brewing team did it quickly. Food was delicious as always. We literally filled most of the place, and knowing this, we didn't just sit around as we knew other people would want seats around 5pm. This team was EXCELLENT. I appreciate this place so much and cannot wait to come back. They do it right at Hart Brewing. Great people.“
