“We love taking a drive to the lake for ice cream on a hot summer day. Ice cream is always good and they're very generous with it as well. The owner makes home made ice cream sandwiches that we like as well. Sometimes we take the dog and she loves this place as well!! Support local business! This guy busts his butt and does such A WONDERFUL JOB!!”
“It's always wonderful to find a great place to comfortably share a meal and socialize. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Everyone loved the cheese curds. I had Sarge's Catch and the perch was perfectly lightly breaded. I traded the fries for sweet potato fries and they were amazing. Never before have I had SPF with the skins on and they were delicious. The rest of our party ordered burgers and enjoyed them with "healthy portions" of fries or house made chips (YUM!) Will definitely be back ?”
“Stopped in tonight, middle of winter and there were some regulars sitting at the bar and everyone was friendly. I had a burger, made perfect! My husband had the steak and he loved it, great seasoning cooked right. Making this a regular on our list. Traveled from Adrian.”
“Excellent coffee shop! Cozy, warm, and inviting. Delicious coffee, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches. Lots of comfy seating areas. And some neat toys for kids! A++!”
“Let’s talk about the Best pizza in town!Hometown pizza (Brooklyn MI) always provides hot fresh flavorful food along with great service. From the time we call our order in to the moment Hometown delivers, you can hear and see the friendly customer service.”
“First time eating here but have driven by and they are always packed. There wernt very many cars there today so I figured I would try it out....The food was good and a large portion I always get fajitas when I eat Mexican food and for $19.99 they come with shrimp chicken and steak at this place.Unfortunately there wifi was down so I couldn't watch any March madness games but that is not there fault. Was kinda weird the margaritas are served in a pint glass and cost $10”
“Great staff and owners. Love their wines, sandwiches and alternative drinks! Especially love to go out there during the summers when they have bands on their fabulous patio with big tables and dancing area!”
“Found right outside the small town of Hudson, Michigan; Azteca Mexican Restaurant is your typical Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu.It was typical but typical done well.”
“Where to start with this little place. The hometown diner atmosphere, the smiling face when you walk in the door, the friendly service and absolutely great home cooked style meals? This little place is simply overall amazing. A very hard working Family owned diner. Once again the food is like I'd prepare for my own family (I've been a Chef for 40 yrs) and just like my table you better come with an appetite! You get all that you pay for and then some and in today's economy that's really saying something. I highly recommend stopping in this place and giving them the support they deserve if you're in their neck of the woods.BTW my wife had Southwest Hash with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over medium eggs on top. Delicious!! And don't mind all the hot sauce we like our food spicy!”
“In town for a football game on a Saturday morning. Needed a refill on my coffee. Chose this local spot over the big name drive thru's and glad I did! Nice, cozy coffee shop with all the good morning smells. Was greeted by the owners. I got a large dark roast that was absolutely delicious with nothing added! If you're swinging thru this quaint little town and need a little pickme up, swing into this gem of a downtown coffee shop!”
“Visited during A Taste Of The Irish. Had enjoyed mini versions of their treats and picked up some coffee, candles, and a small bit of ice cream. The flavors were unique and pleasant. Specifically, the frosting was fluffy, mellow, and fruity. As one might expect, the ice cream oh so very creamy and packed with goodies! I am satisfied with the aroma of the candles (buring warm cinnamon roll as I type). It's a soft scented cinnamnon, noticeable across the foyer. Their coffee is very smooth and enjoyable! Just beware it is whole bean. Their guest area has a variety of couches and chairs to make a homely impression. There is also a separate cubby to lay back in if not occupied. Books are provided if you find yourself finished with your snacks but don't quite have the urge to leave. Would recommend for a visit to see how it suits your own tastes.”
“Came in on a busy Saturday night in a party of 2. We were sat immediately after being given a lovely tour of the place (my fiance had never been here). We ordered the stacked meatloaf and honestly it was amazing! May be one of my favorite dishes in the area! They just happened to have a DJ tonight and over all vibe of this place is nalstalgic and happy. Definitely coming back.”
“If they would only decide to buy into my Gourmet Way Recipes they and all their Patrons would be Sooooo Joyous being able to Enjoy being made Joyous having the opportunity to Enjoy my Gourmet Way Recipes!”
“Every time we are in Brooklyn we always stop in for a breakfast burrito and an iced mocha. We love this coffee shop and their coffee and burritos are delicious! Always friendly staff and reasonable pricing”
“Good little spot for the family, near a couple lakes and campgrounds so alot of summer fun. Lots of flavors. I didn't see what i wanted so i told the girls a d they whipped something up better than i expected!!!”
“Food was good, would've been better if it was hot. My fries and sandwich were cold and so were the pancakes and hash browns. They were busy and only 1 girl running her butt off so I will definitely be back because the food was good. They were just having an off day. Small place so it fills up fast. They also have a small wrap around bar area with seating.”
“Love this Place the Walleye and Perch are So Good. It's a little gem of a restaurant out in our rural area!❤️Parking: Parking is available on both sides of RestaurantKid-friendliness: It is a restaurant/bar but still very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Large Covered ramp leading into the restaurant with handicap parking right near the start of it.”
“My best-friend and I were in town looking for a place to eat, a customer from skips suggested we go there. Karen greeted us and was very attentive. For starters we got the fried pickle chips and they were served hot and were delicious. I got the Reuben and my friend got the buffalo chicken wrap (spicy). The Reuben was sooo good! The bread was perfectly crispy, the meat sauerkraut ratio was on point, and the sauce was very good. The chicken on the buffalo wrap was tender and the sauce delicious also. Before leaving Karen insisted we try her home made tomato soup and it was so warm and delicious I had to get a cup to go for my grandma. All in all an amazing Experince. Would recommend.”
“Good food, hot coffee. Nice, small town diner.Parking: Infront of the restaurant and on the side street.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible with handicap parking right by the door.”
“Had to wait a little bit for a table for 6. The food was good (perch dinner, walleye dinner, 2 burger and fries, ultimate BLT, hot beef open face sandwich with mashed potatoes, and , service even though they were extremely busy was great. Prices very reasonable, total 140$”
“One of our favorite places to go. My favorite is the bacon BBQ burger. Pretty messy but delicious.Kid-friendliness: Most of the time we come they always bring the kids food first which I greatly appreciate as a parent!”
“This place has the best pizza I have ever eaten. I have moved from the area and no longer have easy access to it, but I will literally drive an hour if I am in the mood for pizza because it’s the best here!”
“This is an excellent place for getting your healthy vibes in! Great smoothies! Great atmosphere, and really enjoy the people working there! ?Parking: Great parking area with plenty of spots.”
“They have excellent pizzas, and it’s the perfect place for those avoiding gluten; there are three gluten-free crusts available. We like the broccoli cheddar version. Prices are very reasonable. Two minor drawbacks: toppings are pretty small portions, and there is a surcharge for using a credit card.Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free crusts.”
“The service was great! The food was delicious! I had the reuben. There was definitely no shortage of meat on the sandwich. The chicken strips were huge. The chicken was juicy, not dry. They don't scrimp on the fries either. The burgers were huge and delicious. The jumbo shrimp lived up to its name and was delicious. We had a group of 8. The server didn't even use a paper to write our order. He remembered everything! We got our food rather quick. The cook did forget to drop one of the chicken strip orders, but they got it out there pretty quick after they apologized.”
“Love this place a nice place to go to and hang out and have a good bite to eat and drink and mostly I'm a big fan of karaoke the lady behind that is awesome Jo Jo and all the people working at the bar are nice as can ”
“Best hot and sour soup I've ever had - loaded with mushrooms and other veggies. The shrimp egg fu yong is great too. Love getting take out from here whenever we're in town.”
“Great beer selection, great service, great food. It's been years since I was last there. Definitely be stopping back in.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice enclosed ramp, right up to the front door.”
