This place has a nice family tavern vibe. We feel very comfortable going as a couple or with our family including grandkids. The service was fast and friendly. The only issue was they did not have any desserts the night we went. Other than that the food was wonderful. The Bootjack has become our go to dinner place.
We all had Sarge’s catch, three pieces of perch with fries and coleslaw. The fish was fried perfectly and not a thick breading. The restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms). They seemed to be short staffed, our wait person was not very attentive.

It's always wonderful to find a great place to comfortably share a meal and socialize. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Everyone loved the cheese curds. I had Sarge's Catch and the perch was perfectly lightly breaded. I traded the fries for sweet potato fries and they were amazing. Never before have I had SPF with the skins on and they were delicious.
