I had an egg type breakfast with hash browns and other ingredients mixed together with the eggs. Kinda dry and not heavy on flavor. Service was fast and very friendly.Very nice atmosphere and decor but it was snowmobile season and the place was empty except for us. The bar/pizza joint down the street was jam packed with about a 30 minute wait to get in. That's just something that made me wonder.
Earla's was the best dining experience I have had in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but it really was the best! Ok, we got there, early, and the owner Chris (same name as myself) was having trouble lighting her oven, due to turning off the gas before doing a deep clean the night before on her vent hoods. Great food, friendly service , and an excellent pianist to accompany dinner. Hands down must stop place when in town.
