“I’m not from the area but Treve’s pizza was recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint. I picked up carryout, 2 pizzas, cheesy bread and a salad with grilled chicken. My friend who had the salad raved about the house dressing, I’m definitely ordering that next time. I heard everything is homemade and the dough is very good. We had the traditional dough, flavor and texture was great. They also have gluten free and I was told the owner takes great care in food preparation for those with these allergies. The staff was kind and attentive. I will order from them again.

“My sister and I ate at Hilltop this Friday . We both had the country fried steak dinner. We both agree that this is the best country fried steak in the county. Our waitress, Mary was delightful, she was helpful and attentive. I've only been here a few times and the meals have always been wonderful!”

Plan ahead for loud music, if you have little kids camp as far away from the stage as possible. Also expect vendors, no showers and outhouses (but very clean). My favorite event of the year!”

“From a suggestion, we drove from Davison. The service was impeccable and the food and selection was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised with this quaint family owned restaurant. My cod had the best batter and taste I have had in YEARS and my salad tasted like it was freshly picked from the garden. Pies are made by the local Mennonites, and food portion sizes are plentiful and soooo good! I will definitely be back. Support small town, family owned businesses.”

“If anyone is looking for a nice venue Beagios is the place. They take great care and pride for their events. My sister’s baby shower was great and the wedding last night we attended. They want it to be nice and perfect and I saw this last night. Great space, great food and great people!”

“We always enjoy going to La Hacienda but tonight the staff went above and beyond. We got there around 8:30pm and the staff was closing up for the night due to it being slow. We almost left because we felt bad. The staff welcomed us right in! Made sure we were completely taken care of and even gave a few extra suckers to our son. The food is always fantastic as well!”

“We had to go to brown city and I didn’t realize the time it was later than I thought so I needed too get dinner for the family, I seen Treve’s pizza ? of course I had too get some and I’m glad we did the pizza was great I loved the cheese bread also there was NO leftovers, I did grab a menu they have salads, wraps, subs and grinders, burgers, calzones, wings and even a kids menu so many things to choose from I definitely recommend trying them out little town calls for good food ?”

“As soon as I stepped through the doors today, I was greeted by the warm, friendly smile of Deanna, the sandwich artist behind the counter. She listened intently as I described the type of sandwich I was craving, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm as she skillfully selected the perfect ingredients. I watched in awe as she meticulously arranged each element, ensuring every bite would be a harmonious explosion of flavors.

Deanna's passion for her craft was palpable - she took the time to perfectly balance the textures and seasonings, adding just the right amount of each topping to create a sandwich that was both visually appealing and utterly mouthwatering. As she handed me the finished product, wrapped in that familiar Subway paper, I could hardly wait to take my first bite. It was clear that Deanna took great pride in her work, treating each customer's order with the utmost care and attention to detail.

My Subway experience with Deanna was truly exceptional, leaving me with a newfound appreciation for the art of sandwich making and a deep craving to return for another delightful creation.

“We just moved to the area. This is the closest place to us. The food is amazing! The service is slow. We go here once or twice a week. We usually spend $100-150 a trip (meals and a few drinks) we play keno that's not counting keno money. We ate there this afternoon and sat at the bar. The bartender was more worried about the game that was on than us. I asked him if he would run our keno tickets so we could play, he walked away. I went around to where the machine is and had to ask that girl twice. I'm not a quiet person so I know they heard me. Back at my seat we ordered food while waiting I watched the bartender wipe off the bar. He wiped the crumbs off the bar onto the chairs where customers sit instead of pulling it to him. Nasty! We ALWAYS have to ask for another beer or glass of wine. This happens EVERYTIME we have been in. I know the staff is young but dang tips are how they make money. We always tip well usually more than 25%. I just don't feel our business or money is appreciated by the staff. I do enjoy the food and the atmosphere but don't make us beg for drinks, extra napkins, sauces etc. Staff shouldn't act like it's an inconvenience to bring us things. It's their job. Management really should talk with them. If this had happened once I wouldn't be writing this (we all have bad days) but everytime. Few times we have brought family with us. My sister n law was like is it always like this with trying to get a refill...so it's not just me. She's from here. Tighten the staff up.”
