“Tonight me and my friends agreed we needed real food so we called Rinaldi’s to get some pizza 🍕 ,their famous Rinaldi bread 🥖 and some awesome broccoli 🥦 cheese 🧀 & bacon 🥓 bites with ranch. It was sooooo freakin good 😊 we all enjoyed every single bite!!! And the extra Parmesan was extra nice 👍🏻 👍🏻“

“I came in to order because I had a coupon. I placed my order and then realized it was an online coupon only so I sat down to order online figuring it was going to take another 1/2 hour to wait. I placed my order and then went to the car to wait and in less than 4 minutes she came out to my car with our pizzas. She started making our orders while I was sitting on the bench ordering online what awesome service. So I had to share this with anyone who will read this… amazing service. “My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. “I ordered from this place through delivery, unfortunately they didn’t have any drivers and had to use a third party. After something had gone missing from the order I called them back and they were so patient with me despite their circumstance and even offered the missing item to be picked up for free. “Great value and pizza for 2 vegans. We shared the $11 option and it was just right for us. I highly recommend this place for a cheap good eat if you want pizza and hate vegan cheese. I'm sure the normal pizza is good to. The service was good but also a little strange. We never paid. At the end of eating we had to go up and ask to pay. I feel like you should pay before getting the pizza. I worry it's easy for someone to just leave, I hope not. They seemed like good people.

Vegetarian options: We're vegan, not vegetarian but this place can even accommodate us. Normally we would never have pizza because vegan cheese just sucks but this pizza was not bad. I think the key is having the right amount of cheese.

“I’ve ordered items from this location 3 times and have not have a bad time of it. I will say that the last time I ordered, I got a stuffed Howie bread, which was everything I dreamed it would be ✨, but I was anticipatory 😝 so I went to pick it up early and waited in my car. I saw them place the box in the heating lamp/shelf thingy, but my app never updated. I waited a few minutes and thought hmmm maybe that’s not mine, but the time had passed on the Howie tracker in the app where they said it would be ready so I went in to make my presence known. The box I saw from my car was indeed my order. It wasn’t cold yet, but basically I’m saying that if you’re going for pick up, the app doesn’t update in real time, so I’d just go inside to get it even if it doesn’t say it’s ready, so you can get the freshest pizza!

In the two orders I have pictured here, one was from November where I got the chicken and waffles pizza (no chicken bc I don’t eat meat- so basically waffles pizza 🤪) and it was delicious. I ended up ordering it a second time- if you don’t get the chicken, it’s essentially a dessert pizza which reminded me of the old dessert pizzas at another restaurant which shall not be named in this review, that used to have full dining room service with an epic buffet. If you know, you know. Anyway, I’m sure if you get the actual chicken and waffles pizza, and you like that kind of thing, you’ll love this pizza.

My second order pictured, I got the 3 cheese stuffed Howie bread. Check my video for cheese pull 🧀 😎. It was perfect. Everything I dreamed of in the moment.

I don’t order often from Hungry Howie’s but honestly every time I do, I’m reminded of the superiority in crust flavoring and I question myself as to why I don’t return more often.

“The pizza is pretty good if you like thin crust, though there are not a lot of topping options available as the menu is pretty limited. Takeout is easy, if you are eating in the place is cold in the winter months and definitely could use some updates. Worth trying to see if you like the pizza as it is a very popular West Michigan staple.“

We came in for lunch and got some slices to go. They were hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. No fountain drinks, but bottled pop available.
