“Very great for my 21st! A nice ease into the bar scene and great/kind staff. Pool tables, restrooms, and good simple foods to fill up before you get your favorite shots and drinks. Small but good atmosphere. But as always be aware and careful in any place that primarily serves alcohol to many kinds of people.“

“If you’re looking for that quintessential “dive bar” feel, look no further than the Nickel! It’s a bar with all the essentials, and nothing else. It’s rumored to be the oldest continuously operated bar in Marquette, and it shows that through its rustic nature. There are only a few tables, and the majority of the space is for standing room. About 25% of the floor space is reserved for the pool table, and there’s also outdoor seating if you’re lucky enough to visit in the summer. The drinks are cheap and the fun is grand at the Nickel, so stop by for a pint of you’re looking for the Last of the Originals!“

“Overall it is a good bar. Hot college girls! Good drinks! Great karaoke! Lack of bartenders for such a busy bar is ridiculous…1 or 2 only. Also be careful because just because a person is at Flanigans doesn’t mean they are 21+ at all. I’ve see people I know that are definitely 100% under 21 that are there drinking alcohol. They should check IDs for all people because i don’t want this wonderful place to get shutdown.“

“We had the best experience at Bodega yesterday. We stopped for breakfast to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday with mimosa’s. We had Aurora as a waitress and she is amazing! The food was incredible!! I love that they let you know right away that you will be waiting about 45 minutes for your food, because it is fresh. It was with the wait! Try the coffee, it is delicious! Great way to spend our Saturday morning. I highly recommend it!!“
