The waiter took forever. There was a hair in the food. The manager did give us a discount and we appreciated that so much. You had to talk loudly for the person sitting right next to you to hear you. It was so dark inside.

The garlic bread and meat sauce was as great as sitting at mom's kitchen table back in the day. Nice lemon cake.

Every time I travel to the UP with family, I always come here at least once with every trip. I had an even greater experience here than last time, and the food was as good as it usually is. This time, I got a steak sandwich, it was great and I have no complaints about it. I have also had the Fettuccine Alfredo and a pizza there, which were both delicious as well. The service was great and our waitress was especially nice, making sure that our food tasted right and that we had no complaints. The only bad thing I would say is that the portions of some foods were off at times (ex. a plate of salad had only a couple pieces of salami and cheese, the rest was lettuce). Other than that, I can't think of anything else negative to say about this restaurant, and I highly suggest coming here and dining in at least once whenever coming around Marquette.

Excellent experience. First dined here in the early ‘90’s when I was stationed at KI Sawyer AFB. I come back to visit every few years since I love their Cudighi sandwich. My daughter was with me this time and loved her pasta and the garlic bread. Is it perfect? No, but the great service, atmosphere and food make it a restaurant worth treasuring as dining out changes so drastically.

Completely overpriced . This food is so under par and mediocre honestly. The menu is like an Italian steakhouse than fine Italian dining like they wish they were . Let’s just say, wife ordered a $8 salad and it was iceberg lettuce, way overly salted with vinegar. That’s all. Nasty , cheap wine selection too

We got the cheesy garlic bread that was good. The garlic bread that came with meals was alright. The chicken parm was dry, not enough sauce on pasta and not much taste, and chicken had too much gristle. Very over priced for quality. Service was very slow as they were just hanging out talking, and we were the only ones there.

We absolutely love this place. Their steaks are among the best I've ever had. Everything else is as good as it gets, including the service - which can't be beat.

I have been going to Casa for many years, but sadly, over the past 3 years my visits became less and less as the prices kept going up and up. Today if the first time I ordered from here in over 6 months. Their Service was great, the antip. salad with house dressing was great. Here is where things went a little downhill. The meat sauce on both the spaghetti and the lasagna did not taste anywhere near what they did six months earlier. Tasted like the ones you get out of a tin can. The second issue, by far the biggest disappointment... the garlic bread. These garlic bread pieces used to be so big and thick that you would need to rip pieces off to eat as you went. The guys loved this bread so much we ordered two extras at $4 per extra piece. The garlic bread we got was about half the size overall... It was about the length of a standard hot dog bun but not as thick. It wasn't just one piece like them... all 6 pieces were like that. A few years ago, the price per piece was $1.99 and now the price is double, but the bread size is now half the size it used to be. I kinda wish I would have taken a photo of it just to show. Overall, not too bad, but it is also not the same and the price it to the point when I do go here, I am expecting big thick garlic bread and great homemade sauces. I did not get the big garlic bread slices, and I am pretty sure the sauce wasn't homemade... not this time. I could be wrong, but it did taste like it came out of a tin can. I will try again in maybe 6 months to see if things got better unless in 6 months the prices went up again.

I know I give low ratings if you look over my Google reviews, but in northern Michigan, there's limited food diversity, but I have to say you won't be disappointed with Casa Calabria.
And a shout out to our waitress Payton. What great server...
Huge shoutout to Casa for a wonderful rehearsal dinner that I picked up this past weekend. It was absolutely delicious!!! Had both kinds of salad (antipasto and Caesar) , Alfredo penne, meat lasagna and bread!!!! There were people, like myself, that have been eating there since day one and many out of towners, so first timers, consensus was delicious!!!!!! Truly everything was perfect and all packaged and ready for quick pickup when we arrived! Excellent job!!!!!!! Thank you so very much!!!
