My niece and i went back to Marquette for a visit. The VRBO had Daydream Decaf offered on their counter. we found your coffee shop and purchased 1 lb of daydream Decaf, and 1 lb of Dear River Blend. They mixed them for me so I could bring home 2 lbs of 1/2 caf. I love it and want to order more. The shop was cute, cozy and friendly! Thanks!!, Tish O
Dead River Coffee has the best cold brew in Marquette—hands down. It’s smooth, rich, and incredibly refreshing. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe with friendly staff and a great local feel. Definitely my favorite coffee spot in town.

A must stop for coffee in the U.P. I stopped on my way home from Houghton and got a coffee and savory scone. I savored the scone almost all the way to St. Ignace!

Friendly service. Best cappuccinos. Their beans are freshly roasted. I bought a pound of beans before I left. When I got home. They had a moldly taste The coffee in the restaurant was absolutely excellent. So I don’t know why the beans I purchased were bad Can’t use them

Cute little coffee shop. I had a great scone and an iced latte. Some funny knick knacks laying around inside.

They have a decent selection of coffee and tea drinks. They offer oat and almond milk for dairy alternatives. I got their house chai with oat milk and it was great. They make it without sweetener, but the cinnamon in the brew made it taste sweet without sugar. This is a true steeped chai and not a packaged chai or chai syrup.

Local coffee beanery in town. You could walk from the hotel if you want. Parking up front on the street is free for 15 minutes, or pay by the hour. Sells coffee beans by the pound. Have hot & iced coffee drinks & some baked goods.
Cold blustery day ….just what we needed. Walking the lakeshore and decided that a coffee as what was needed. Found this quaint little place . Brown sugar cinnamon coffee hit the spot. Thanks for doing what you do and do it well.
We recently ordered 2 lb (Harbor Girl and Dead River Blend) of coffee from their site and will be ordering again.
They are our favorite coffee roaster, we have tried several of their coffee varieties and have enjoyed every one!
I needed a spot to do some work for several hours. The reviews don’t lie—BEST coffee I’ve had in a long time! I drank just Americano, but the coffee was GOOD (this is how you know coffee is better than others). They make all of their syrups in house—for those who enjoy a sweeter treat. I’m going to stop in again for a flavored latte on my way out of town. The barista on staff (the one from Allendale) was WONDERFUL! She cleaned the entire time I was there and was engaging with conversation periodically while she worked. Strong WiFi signal. Very good experience!
