Love getting my beans from Dead River Coffee. The Ethiopian Sidamo and Brazil are my go-to coffees. It's got a crunchy atmosphere, and half the time there are a bunch of old guys playing cribbage. They also carry Doozers cookies, which are pretty decadent. If you're lucky, they'll have the Earl Grey Doozer cookie, which is worth grabbing. Great spot to pick up a bag of coffee and hang out for a bit.
I had such a fantastic time visiting this coffee shop; it is easily one of the best spots to grab a cup in the area. The coffee is roasted to perfection, and you can really taste the quality in every single sip. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to settle in with a book or catch up with friends. It’s clear they take great pride in their craft, and the friendly service really rounds out the whole experience.
Expert level hospitality. The most inviting place that I visited on my two day MTB retreat. 25 years in restaurants and I still light up with joy when a proper cup of coffee shakes me out of my morning fog. Friendly and passionate baristas launching people into a happy day.
