I had a wonderful experience at Elizabeth Chophouse. I was a first-time guest and the food and beverage was excellent. I tried their Ribeye served on a brick of Pink Salt and it was truly delicious. Outstanding wine list. Overall, the menu was extensive and far above any in the upper peninsula. Our server was very kind and courteous.
Very slow service. Drinks messed up. Cold potatoes and meatloaf. Overall not a great experience for the price tag.
Elizabeth's Chop house is probably the best restaurant in the Marquette area. A bit pricy, but if you can afford it, the best of all worlds. Great food, great service, great views and ambiance. I think the dinner for 2 Tomahawk steak we had might be the best steak I've ever had. A great night. I will certainly be back.
Elizabeth's offers high-end food you can't get anywhere else. It's also in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Superior.
I'm so glad i picked this restaurant for my Bday dinner. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant. Our waitress Jamie was amazing and had a great sense of humor.
As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!! A couple things that we did notice - service was a bit slower than typical. While we know it was a Saturday and a bit busy, we did have to wait a long time before we were greeted and asked for our drink order. And my Dad's steak was served less that warm. He asked to send back to heat. Our dishes may have sat for awhile bc my risotto was also less than warm. Overall though, we had a great meal.
Great service, very welcoming and attentive. We had a new server and she was very good. I felt the menu a bit overpriced for the area. Food was underwhelming. Bar area looked nice for after work drinks. Some furnishings a bit tired and in need of replacement.
I would not recommend dining here. They were clearly understaffed. Took 1 and 1/2 hours just to get salads. Meal followed much later. Meal was warm at best and not seasoned well. Overall not worth the expensive price. Wine was good. Server never checked on us, I believe avoiding us becasue she knew everything was taking so long.
Elizabeths has NEVER disappointed from appetizers to desserts it has been top notch. Sara or server was attentive and offered great selections from wine to dessert. We have made it a tradition to celebrate my wife birthday at Elizabeths and are rewarded with fireworks that seem to stun the surrounding guests.
Our son is a senior at NMU, and for the past three years (now four) we've looked forward to a dinner at Elizabeth's during almost every visit...we've already planned his graduation dinner next May with multiple families attending, and will have to find other reasons to come back to Marquette so that we can eat here! Everything we've ever ordered has been great, but if there's one stand-out among stand-outs, it's the 18oz ribeye served on a salt block. If 18oz is too big (as it is for us), they'll split it onto two salt blocks. Worth the visit for that alone, but everything else they serve excels as well.

Enjoyed our dinner at Elizabeth's.Service is and always has been very good and the food is delicious. They always serve quality cuts of meat and seafood. It was a birthday dinner and Katrina and her “intern” went out of their way to make the birthday boy's dessert festive!
It had a great view right by the water. It was a nice little place, the drinks were good but in my opinion over priced which is expected on the island. The food was good, it didn't blow my mind, the BLT was lacking sauce and the bread wasn't as good as I had hoped. They had a good brunch menu and would definitely go back to try more food.
It's was disappointing. We ordered scallops wrapped in bacon, miso glazed salmon, 6 oz filet and buttered whitefish. The scallops were overcooked and dry. The salmon was overcooked and dry. My whitefish was just ok. Nothing special. The filet was the best dish. Our waiter was very accommodating and we love sitting on the patio overlooking the lake. Our salads were very good.
A great place! Well-prepared veal chops and interesting potato dish (patatas bravas). Very attentive service. Our table was on the windowed porch with a nice view.
The food is excellent and consistent every time we eat there. Alicia and Alyssa did a fantastic job on our service. I can't thank the team enough.
