We had the burger with bacon, blue cheese and some kind of jam on it. Can't recall the name, but it was so good!! We also got the fish tacos which were also amazing! Loved the history and feel of the place. I'd definitely go back next time we're in Marquette.

We love stopping here when we're in town. We were seated right at our reservation time. the seating hostess and our server were quick and polite. Drinks were strong and well crafted. The whitefish tater tots are amazing! Please never stop serving them. I had the crispy spicy chicken sandwich with fries, she had the fish tacos. the food arrived hot and delicious. We can't wait to come back.

One of our favs whenever we visit Marquette! Burger was done perfectly, but entree salad was soggy. Vegan entree was ok- mostly mixed veggies and lacked flavor Hopefully food choices will improve cuz we love the location and the ambience!

Food was okay. My white fish tacos had entirely too much salt in them which took away from the flavor of the fish. It is a very cute eatery, but the price point is too high for the value of food.

I enjoyed my chowder and salad, but my husband’s $21 fish tacos were bland and very small. The major issue we had with this establishment was the transparency fund fee that was added to our bill. We saw no mention anywhere that an additional 4% transparency fund fee would be added to our bill, which in hindsight, I should have demanded it be removed. In addition, they include the transparency fund fee and the tax (not uncommon, but not ethical) in their calculations for tipping. Needless to say, we will not frequent this place again. PS… shame on those who don’t question an added fee on their final bill. Their use of the term ‘transparency fund’ is an oxymoron, because you don’t see it coming.
Edited to respond to the owner: Well, maybe I stand corrected, but we never saw any posting of your ‘transparency fund’ and how many people do you know search for notices of hidden fees when going out for a relaxing, late lunch? Shame on you for squeezing every penny you can get out of your customers. We almost deducted it from our servers tip, but that would not have been fair to him. By the way, Sean is an asset to your business.

Loved my Superior whitefish tacos! The cold corn salad was also yummy. My husband really liked his burger and fries. Great service, too.
Our waitress, Angela, was awesome! The food was Great! My husband had the Whitefish Chowder and loved it!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Marquette!

The food was very good overall. The only disappointment we had was that they were out of one of the dishes we wanted to try. Other than that, it was a great place and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We went to have their fish tots but they ran out. My sister asked for some Chardonnay (they had two types on the menu) but they ran out of both (they did give us a 1/2 glass because that's all that was left, and they did not charge it for us). They said they were slammed earlier so they ran out. They need to manage their inventory better as they should have anticipated being slammed as there is a music festival this week (I bet this has happened before). The food we did have (1/2 soup; whitefish and salad) was excellent.

We did walk up takeout . Our son is disabled so we can't eat inside restaurants. While the food was good we were really shocked to see many additional charges to our bill. We have no problem playing the labor charge or an included tip. We were also charged two separate fees for take out service. They didn't tell us of these added charges when we paid and my husband tipped AGAIN in cash. In the future please provide customers with the itemized bill before letting them know the balance. 50$ dinner plus 50$ in fees/tips. 😂 unbelievable for takeout
