Walked in, and were immediately told this was a “working man’s bar, cash only”. We got the basic drinks and burgers. The burger was great. There were several menu items not available. There was one man working the bar and cooking the food, it was insane. It was an interesting atmosphere.

The cheese burgers are the best in town. I have tried 27 other burgers in the UP and this is definitely in the top 3. The fries are good as well. The atmosphere is that of any local neighborhood bar. A must stop for the best burger Marquette has to offer !
My son and his buddies have gone to Pat's before. I figured he and I would go today. A no-nonsense bar with certainly a no-nonsense bartender. Good cheeseburgers and fries. Behave yourself and you'll be fine.
