Bought a red, white and blue pie for our 4th party. Was a bit disappointed for a $40 pie. The box was full of fruit liquid that had leaked out, the apples were still crunchy, the filling was very watery and nearly impossible to get a piece out. We ended up treating it more like a cobbler and just spooned filling out over ice cream. Great flavor but poorly executed for the price.
I Love everything about this place. From dessert to the meat pies, the ownership, management and the smiling staff, this establishment is an awesome part of our community. Top notch.
The food is always top notch. If the staff isn’t feeling it that day, don’t be surprised if you’re the only customer in the bakery but you can’t get any service. There have been a couple occasions where a kitchen worker made eye contact with me through the window of the kitchen door, but chose not to voice to anyone that a customer was at the counter.
