We came in as the only customers today and had to interrupt the employees to answer the question of how much our sandwich was going to cost. There are no prices on the menu board or menus except the daily specials. The awesome Coca~Cola machine had 85-90% of the drink selections unavailable. I hardly ever complain about negative experiences but this was absolutely awful. I always support my community but sadly not today.
For the third time in a row, we were given something wrong in our order. We’re over it. I’d rather drive all the way to Gull rd Mancinos then try eating here again.
Horrible service, they leave you on hold for over 10 minutes to take an order and act very rude. Management needs to get a grip on this. Won’t order from there again.

Samuel Mancino's Mattawan MI is a restaurant known for its grinders, pizza, and accommodating service. The grinders are amazing, with a vegetarian sub grinder being delicious and filled with fresh veggies, with melted cheese and soft, crusty bread. The pizza is good, and the place is clean with kind and responsive staff. However, experiences vary. Some visits have had issues, such as the wrong order given once, and bread sticks that were terrible, hard, and with zero flavor, like a box of pizza crusts. The onion rings were way undercooked, and the supreme mess o potatoes were not good, being cold, dry, and with not enough toppings. Despite these problems, many customers love the food and service, with one reviewer impressed after not visiting for years. The restaurant is accommodating for custom items, special diets, and last-minute plans. The quality and flavor outweigh the prices, and customers feel they get their money's worth. Overall, it is a popular choice for grinders and pizza, though consistency can be an issue.
