After driving past here for years, I decided to give them a try. I got their 10 taco deal which was not a great deal, but in the current economic mess they have us in, it was acceptable. Also got a side of rice and beans which were the real stars. Probably the best Mexican rice I've had in a while. The tacos were fine. Not bad in any way, but not outstanding. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for about 10 years and pass by La Favorita Tienda every single day taking my children to and from school, but this was my first time actually stopping in — and I’m so glad I did. I was looking everywhere for Palo Azul after several other stores didn’t have it, and when I called, they were kind, helpful, and confirmed they had it in stock for an affordable price.

Everything is on point here. The asada quesadillas with dab of creamy jalapeno sauce can't be beat, well maybe by the pastor chimichanga! Prices are insane and the staff is always lovely.
