“This place makes amazing bagels. I spent a couple decades in big cities with bagel shops of various quality, but this place is up there with the best of them. So great to have them here in Menominee and doing well as a small business. The Bagel Shoppe is, hands down, the best place to get a breakfast sandwich in Menominee. They clearly know what they're doing on the bagel front and even have a lox and bagel on the menu. Their veggie cream cheese on a double-toasted jalepeño cheddar bagel is my favorite. Pro tip: put their crunchy herb-seasoned bagel chips on your breakfast sandwich--you're welcome👍 Every time I go in there, the people behind the counter are very friendly and welcoming, and they prepare orders promptly. This is a great place to sit and get some work done, too, especially if you want to support a local small business. They even have some comfy chairs with outlets nearby. Best of luck to these guys. I will definitely be giving them more of my money for their amazing bagels and coffee.“

“For a place that I just happened upon while passing through, I 100% recommend A Place For Coffee. The atmosphere of the shop is so quaint and holds a quintessentially hometown feel. “I want to thank the ladies at the Peshtigo Cafe for getting a dedicated grill/griddle for those of us with celiac disease. They wear gloves and use clean cooking utensils. The ladies have taken special care when preparing my breakfast. The omelettes are amazing. They also have gf toast if you want it.“

The space itself is warm, clean, and inviting, with a great local feel. You can tell they put thought into the environment, and it makes the whole experience that much better.

The menu has a great variety too—plenty of healthy options, fresh ingredients, and also other solid food choices depending on what you’re in the mood for. It’s not just one lane, which I like.

I had the Greek flatbread pizza, and it was honestly excellent. Super fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and cooked just right. The combination of grilled chicken, feta, olives, and fresh greens came together really well—light, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy. You can tell it’s real food, not something thrown together.

Overall, great experience. This is the kind of place that makes it easy to eat better and feel good about it.
