Pretty cool place. I always liked the venison chili. Seems like there's less and less content in this chili however over the years. Great flavor but it's starting to taste like venison meat sauce soup, no beans, and less and less meat. There might be like three beans in it. A good chili should have a higher ratio of beans in my opinion, Not just a bowl of sauce. Especially for $9.50. per bowl. The breaded shrimp is good but the dipping sauce is a bit too salty,...
My first time here celebrating my sister getting married and The place is gorgeous the history is intriguing. Love the garden ( fruits, veggies and herbs) and the patio area very nice There was 11 of us and our server Jen was phenomenal. I got the French dip and it was good few people got fish and chips that was delicious the cowboy Mac and cheese was edible but nothing to write home about . Got the spinach dip & chips were stale no offer to replace or swap for something else,pretzels...
Beautiful historic location. Excellent service, fabulous food and drinks. Varied menu and very generous portions. Great for family gatherings, special occasions, or a date. Can't say enough good things....we WILL be back!!
