This is my go to lunch spot, where I bring people for a quick peaceful lunch. But truly disappointed with BLT sandwiches which we both got today. Bacon was shaved so thin, and so few strips, no texture much less flavor at all and skimpy smear of mayo on one side. Unfortunately not sure will return for lunch, but will continue picking up bagels, cream cheeses and delicious muffins. Atmosphere and employees are friendly and welcoming.
I truly love this place but today I ordered what I usually do and asked for salt and pepper on my sandwich to which I was told “the salt and pepper you can do yourself”. I’ve ordered the same thing from here every time I come in and that was a first. I work out on the field so it’s not really convenient for me, THE CUSTOMER, to have to take apart the sandwich in my car and do what she could have EASILY done when preparing the sandwich. Always pick n up a few bagles when in town. We miss our store in bay city. Love the jalapeño bagles. My wife onky can eat a limited choice but they Re always gone when we get there.
