I was taking my daughter to Michigan to visit some colleges and I wanted to share with her some memories of my youth. One of those things was eating at a Big Boy restaurant. We found one in Midland, MI. \n\nOn arrival, I saw the Big Boy and a photo was needed. Entering the place it was like I was back in my childhood. I saw a small salad and soup bar, pies behind the counter and the Big Boy booth.\n\nI ordered what was equivalent to a McDonalds Big Mac and my daughter got a chicken...

Daisry. Very nice. She made sure we were well taken care of. Everything was good on the food and hot. I don’t know what’s going on, but they must have a new owner..

Ordered breakfast which included toast and a fresh fruit cup. I ordered dry rye toast and the fresh fruit cup. Was brought wheat toast and a fruit cup consisting of frozen blueberries, canned mandarin oranges and fresh grapes. The waitress told me that was what they called a "fresh" fruit cup because it was put together fresh each day. The toast was their special blend of Rye so it didn't taste as strong.
