I was greeted at the door with a smile and immediately seated for 2. The waiter was EXCELLENT and acted like he loved his job and wasn't a miserable dick like some lmao he joked, was enthusiastic about the food which is important. the food was great. the burnt ends killed it. Brisket, pulled pork, both excellent with the variety of sauces they have. cornbread was moist and delicious. Beans. ok. The beans were fire. Smoky rich goodness. First time here, the salmon tasted bad as did the pulled/chopped pork with a bad after taste. The Mac and cheeses was pretty much tried noodles with a little pre shredded cheese on top not melted.
As for the bbq sauces I personally did not like any of them. From the one like franks red hot sauce on steroids to the rest being like drinking straight vinegar ( I love vinegar by the way). Also, I was wondering why none of the meat had the typical “smoke ring”? I smoke a lot...read full review
