Life Is Sweet is my favorite little spot in downtown Milan. One side is a bakery with great sandwiches, pastries, and coffee/tea — and the other side is the cutest shop. It’s my go‑to place for gifts for the women in my life. I’m especially partial to anything with fresh fruit… or a cannoli. Such a charming local gem.
Love this coffee shop! My only complaint is there are no high chairs for little ones. It’s a cute place with tasty treats, but very hard to enjoy with a toddler who can’t quite sit at a table yet.

We happened upon this lovely bakery on a recent trip. Let me tell ya, we LOVED it! Fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffee, smoothies, and kitchen store! My only regret is that we were only able to visit that day! I will definitely be back. Everything was so delicious and fresh!
