Fried potatoes were deep fried and no flavor except the oil they were cooked in. Toast was just warmed up soggy pale bread. Cinnamon rolls weren't homemade just frozen blah ones. Only stop to eat if you're literally starving

This was an unexpected surprise.. two seconds after we walked in two waitresses ran into each other and hot coffee was spilled on the waitress. She brushes it off and continues to work . The food was fabulous and you get a lot for the price . We sat at the bar to eat and the cooks had no problem talking with us while they worked .. over all when I'm back up north I'll be stopping by again.. and telling others in my rock hunting group to stop there also when in the area

Small town breakfast restaurant with signature cinnamon rolls and yummy homemade gravy for biscuits. Saw people come in just for the cinnamon rolls to go. Came here two days in a row-first day busiest time so we had to wait quite a long time for the food. Second day came earlier and both days were consistently delicious! Hash-browns cooked to perfection and so were the eggs. The bacon was smokey and thick-so good. They had flavored creamers and I think their sourdough toast was homemade-it was really good! The waitstaff wea wonderfully warm and helpful. Will definitely make this our breakfast place in the Keewenaw Peninsula!

Hometown food and service. Everyone's a friend. Food is made to your request whether crispy hash browns or over easy eggs.

It was busy as it could be and always is, service was good-kudos to our waitress. But it was so cold in there, I started shivering. Food:arrived cold and I mean cold, no warmth at all. There was a stray mushroom in my icy scrambled eggs, butter not even melted on the toast, hashbrowns were basically a glob of hardening grease. Not the first time we had a not so great breakfast here. Proves to me plate sat for a long time before being served. After 10+ years of coming here, sorry won't be back.

Can’t say enough good about the service and food. Hash browns are made from freshly shredded potatoes- add a little onion and oh so yummy. Eggs are smooth and buttery. Cinnamon roll french toast is the best I’ve ever had. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and not overly sweet like most cinnamon rolls. We even bought cinnamon rolls to go. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely stop here again.

This is a really great place every time we go! They even have sour dough toast and gluten free options!! The gluten free pancakes are top notch! You have to ask about the gluten free cinnamon rolls I think they are only available on Friday from 1-2pm. And yes all of the other food is great, I love the breakfast sandwich made with a homemade biscuit/bacon/cheddar, but there are other ways to have it made.

What first envelopes you as you walk in, is the smell of warm, fresh bread. They make all their own bread including GF (on fridays). So rare to find at a restaurant today. Service was great. I enjoyed AH-mazing Gluten Free cinnamon swirl toast. Was fantastic. Not that crumbly dry store bought junk. They have several GF options including pancakes. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Great find in a small town. Don't miss it.
Update: Ate there again on Saturday. Realized they grind coffee beans fresh each pot! Just keeps getting better here. I couldn't resist so had the GF cinnamon swirl bread as French toast. So. Very. Good. My husband had eggs and hash browns which of course they shred fresh each day. Wish we could have enjoyed lunch there too. Truly do not miss this spot.
