Very cozy calm vibe that makes you feel at home, the owner was really sweet and the food was life changing, a little bit pricey but 1000% worth it. I was talking about the food for weeks

This was my first time dining here. It was delicious! The service was outstanding, and Mya showed us the proper way to eat some items, as they should be wrapped.

I had one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The atmosphere here in Mount Pleasant is genuinely warm and inviting—it has that rare, intimate feeling of being welcomed into someone's home. The service was impeccable, always delivered with a smile. The true star, however, is the owner/chef. She personally prepared our dishes, and the quality and care were evident. A visit from her to our table to check on the meal was the perfect personal touch. My only cautionary note: while delicious, the kimchi is seriously spicy. If your tolerance is low, admire it from afar, or prepare for a delightful, fiery challenge

Probably the best Korean restaurant in Michigan
It's a one woman show, and she does an incredible job. The ban chan, kimchi, and just about everything else is made in house. The beef was obviously very high quality in addition to perfectly prepared. The sweet potato noodles with pork were unlike anything I have had in the area. No additives, largely organic, made with love...not much more one could ask for.
I really wish this wasn't a 2 hour drive for us

Over 2hr waiting for food, real small and congested, sauce on food left to be desired and the waitress offered a side to us for waiting and it was a small condiment container worth, 40 dollars waste, also chicken and shrimp were burned and overcooked

On a road trip headed up north, we had heard this was a great place, so we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was very fun. There was a group there to celebrate a birthday and there was small wait, but it was soooo worth it!
We ordered two different kinds of Bibim-Bob and I also ordered the kimchi/side spread. The sides were SO GOOD. the variety of flavors and texture were great. I also appreciated the spin on potato salad. I was told it was her (the chef/owner) mother's recipe. With every dish, you can very much taste the care taken to prepare it.
The Bibim-Bobs came out and were beautiful. I regret not taking a picture of them - they looked so delicious we dove right in - especially when combined with sides spread.
Bottom line - if you are passing through or staying in Mt Pleasant, it is very much worth a trip to Jib-Bob's. I'm so glad we were there during business hours and are planning to build it into our future trips through Michigan.

This restaurant is a fairly favorite. In a world of chain restaurants it dares to be original.....from the menu to its decore its a winning combination, and if that wasnt enough to spur you to load the address into the gps throw in the super friendly staff and it checks all the boxes!

A lovely stop that was welcoming from the moment we entered with a kind greeting from the owner, and an cozy atmosphere inside. It was easy to relax inside and the owner was very helpful and kind. The artwork all around to admire from the street, yard, and walls.
The menu while my first time eating at a Korean stop was easy to pick from with clearly translated and told you all the ingredients. Everything sectioned clearly and defined, as well as a fridge to choose any drinks not on the menu.
To round it off the owner was so kind and friendly. Engaging in conversation plenty of times. From asking how our day is, to our orders, even tell us about her new pup she adopted.
If I ever became a regular at any stop it would be this restaurant!
