Los Amigos of Mt. pleasant Mexican Restaurant

We used to frequent this restaurant often and enjoyed our meals every time. However, after today’s visit we will not be back. We did go with a large party, however, they took an hour to take our order and by the time we ate and got our bill we were there for 2.5 hours. They also charge extra for chips now as well. Our waitress did not seem to care about the service she was providing.

I decided to try this place out after reading good reviews and hearing positive things from many people in the community. my experience was incredibly disappointing however as the food was cold and the service was abominable. if I ever treated a customer the way I was treated I would have been walked out the door at any job I've ever had. not sure if there has been a change in ownership or management but the staff could use some real training and feedback rather than "it's not my fault" excuses. When I spoke with a friend who had recommended the place not long after the worst dining experience I've ever had he said he had been in there a few days prior as well. He seemed to have the same feeder as I had and had the exact same issues. Suffice it to say my friend decided not to return, as have my family and I. there are plenty of good restaurants in town where the wait staff are actually friendly rather than argumentative and uncoachable.

Everything my husband and I ordered here over the last 6 years has been fantastic! Tonight we had the quesa birria quesadilla and the Al Carbon with steak! The steak was so tender and juicy! The birria didn't even need a knife! Our drinks were delicious as well! Our waitress Tania was friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable ! I would highly recommend them every day of the week!!!

Good food and good service. Weather it is take out or eating in, there is always hair in my food.

This place is easy to find right off the main road. When you park go through the doors and you are seated. You are brought out some delicious homemade chips. The menu has plenty of options and the food is absolutely the best. You will not regret going to this restaurant. I come from the west side of the state and I highly recommend going here and ordering a good margarita with some good Mexican food. A++

Got seated and had to wait approx 20 minutes for wait staff to come to table. They were not busy as only 1/3 of tables were full, and I saw at least 4 waiting tables.

This is my son’s favorite restaurant. I can say every time we visit the food is always consistently great. The service is amazing. Kiersten is always friendly and attentive to any refills we may need. A+++ all around.

Very slow service took forever to get anything didn't get menu when we sat down, didn't get straws till after I ordered my food, food came out quick but service was BAD and hunted us down for a tip after I put no tip for crappy service ended up throwing a couple bucks so they would leave us alone will not be coming back

Keirsten is SO sweet! made sure that my friend and I weren’t driving home after demolishing a (DELICIOUS) 32oz margarita. Might have to make this place a regular dinner spot!
