“This is a must visit place! Not only is the food delicious, environment friendly, and is located in the heart of downtown; but, the team that works there, the owner Elmo, and manager Brandy work so hard to put on amazing programs for the community. From feeding hundreds of people facing food insecurity EVERY Sunday through their People Helping People program to putting on stellar community driven free summer concerts, Max & Emily's Eatery exceeds all expectations and goes above and beyond what a "normal" sandwich shop can do. This is not a "normal" sandwich shop, this is a must go to location that I will always support and you should too!“

“I come here quite frequently, and this time was just as great as every other time. Even with a table of five, we didn't have plates piling up, and drink refills were timely. And I still think the scallion beef is the best I've had.“

“We were a family of 7 having dinner before grandpa and grandma go to Florida. Our waitress Kaylee was perfect took all our orders in a timely matter. Got our drinks. Rolls. And appetizers out really quickly. We all ordered something different and everyone was completely satisfied. Checked back with us frequently. We couldn't have asked for anything better“

“Everything my husband and I ordered here over the last 6 years has been fantastic! Tonight we had the quesa birria quesadilla and the Al Carbon with steak! The steak was so tender and juicy! The birria didn't even need a knife! Our drinks were delicious as well! Our waitress Tania was friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable ! I would highly recommend them every day of the week!!!“

“Went in with a work group of 7 without reservations. Got sat right away. Ordered drinks and appetizers. The calamari was excellent. People ordered various rolls and all of them were delicious - very impressive for Midwest sushi. ??
Did take a little while to get food and the nigiri didn’t come until everyone was done with their rolls. We weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back the next time I’m in town.“

“Well after 50 years we are going to have to break up. My pizza with double cheese, ham and onion used to be all white on top, from the cheese, and was covered in delicious strips of sweet onion. Now the onions are skimpy and hard to find, and the ham is kinda skimpy as well. The worst part is the wonderful cheese is now an ugly brown and not real tasty.“

“The best Chinese food in Mt. Pleasant by far! The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and apologized for our long wait. I suggest ordering ahead instead of ordering at the counter. Great portion sizes and food is always hot and good!“

“We came here for my son's 11 birthday breakfast. The food was delicious. But the service... the best I've ever had. We eat out a lot, and our waiter was on top of everything. His name is Cohen. We stayed at the waterpark the night before and we were on our way home. I wish we lived closer to this restaurant because we would be there all the time.“
