Got in on a Friday at noon end of August, still a few sites First Come First serve. Just a quick 7 minute drive into Munising - a quiet reprieve! Plenty of space in camp and between neighbors. Beach is like *gestures wildly* right there (bring water shoes!) Coming back next year!
Wonderful campground. Extremely clean bathrooms with little to no odor. The campgrounds in the middle of the loop closer to the lake provide more privacy but you really can’t go wrong with any of the sites. We couldn’t see any of our neighbors thanks to the thick foliage. The entry road does have some rather large pot holes so be mindful of pulling a boat or a trailer.

Limited amenities. Highway noise. Lots of trees and feels very safe!
