The Duck Pond Eatery and Beer Garden

What a awesome stop at the Duck pond ...we tried the delicious whitefish chowder and cheese curds .
It's the cutest little place and super clean . They do close early October for the winter but re- open in the spring . They also have painted rock boat tours !

I went here for dinner with my work crew, and we had a few problems with our order. Ordered 3 salads: 2 Caesars and 1 house, and the house salad came as a Caesar as well. The waitress tried to argue that we didn’t order a house salad, instead of politely correcting the mistake, she angrily threw the salad away in the trash near our table. The menu also said there would be romaine lettuce, but it was all just ice-burg lettuce.
The burgers were also weird and were just not that good.
We asked for a pitcher of water before ordering our food, and we simply never got any refills or the pitcher of water we requested. I would not go back, and I wouldn’t recommend to any one.

waited 30 minutes before waitress came to our table. ordered and then waited another hour and 45 minutes before deciding to cancel our order and leave.. don’t know how the food is, because it never arrived.

place is coverd with Flys food took almost 2 n half hours to come and the burger chx sandwich were burnt to crib chicken tender for kids meal was dried out and other food was js cold took almost 25 min alone just to get water and on top that is way to expensive for yhis quality 16 dollars for a burger is wild to me

I recently visited the Duck Pond Eatery and Beer Garden at 7974 M-28, in Munising, MI. I walked in and it was kind of slow so I was able to walk around a see all the displays of items such as displays of decoys which are everywhere. The staff was real nice and actually showed me around the beer garden which was closed..what a good operation they have going there. The whitefish pieces were delicious and too many for me to complete. A great place to hang out.

Laid back eatery with a nice atmosphere and great service. We had whitefish sandwiches and they were delicious! Our server, Tori was really friendly and attentive. We loved it.

I enjoyed my meal. The service was great and a waitress helped me choose a mix your own six pack to bring back for my husband. The only negative was the outdoor seating where we got eaten alive by many mosquitos. I had about 14 bites from sitting out on the patio. So come and eat, but not outside!
My wrap was good and my cousin loved her whitefish tacos.

We will definitely be back. We were staying at AuTrain campground and part of our package were food vouchers to this place. I couldn't believe how good everything was! Portion sizes were perfect and the staff were busy but friendly. Our first visit to the U.P. and we were very happy with the whole experience! Thanks for contributing to our good time!

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. The young lady that was our waitress was AMAZING! We got onion rings as our starter, they were cooked perfectly, not too crispy but not underdone. I had the bbq pulled pork sandwich and oh my gosh… it was probably the best pulled pork sammy I’ve had in a minute! The bun was perfectly toasted and omg the bbq pulled pork was absolutely delicious!! The fries were absolutely perfect as well, cooked amazingly.
My husband had the fish tacos, and I’ll be honest, I hate fish I’ve never liked it. I tried a bite of the fish and it was AMAZING. It was seasoned amazingly, no fishy taste at all! The young lady made a Malibu drink that had orange juice and grenadine in it and it was dangerous, didn’t taste like alcohol at all. It was so good!
We will be back when we travel up north again

Beer garden is very nice. Good cold beer. Friendly service although we waited awhile for bill and it wasn’t busy. Good size servings but Whitefish nuggets were not good. Very fishy tasting. Cheese curds were good but not very hot.
