horrible service. 12/21/25. 815am had closed on their sign on window when they were open. we were first customers, regular customer gets his food immediately, 25 minutes waiting for our food still! waitress said it takes too long to fry hash browns. wth?? at 26 minutes we said forget it and went to Bob Evans instead. very poor service. NEVER eating there ever again. poor service, no hospitality, workers sitting down, still no food

I got carryout and it was ready in 5 minutes! The cashier was very nice. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area

Such a treat! Back home for a visit from California… and just had to stop in at my childhood fav… BiG BOY…and get my favorite dessert, hot fudge cake! It didn’t disappoint at all!!! And our waitress, Destiny, went over the top to make everything perfect!

The reason I’m giving this review an one star specifically for Service is because as a DoorDasher, I am genuinely really upset that their hours are “8am - 8pm” and whenever I get orders like tonight, they are closed EARLY! EVERY-TIME their doors are locked! This isn’t the only first time it has happened! Matter a fact, it’s happened too often! I just started Dashing on September 15th and I’ve had 4 or 5 orders from this store and I’ve only ever had ONE successful pick up order! The rest have been due to them closing early! Not trying to be disrespectful be any means! Please please PLEASE stop allowing orders to come through if yall gonna close the store an hour early!

Even though the server only had two tables us and another she never came back to us never got refills the food was undercooked it and all was the worst experience I've ever had at a big boy

Stopped in for pie. My coconut cream pie looks like a four-year-old cut it. I declined to eat it. The server was apologetic, but the manager told her that it didn’t matter. It was super small, flat, and not remotely pie shape. The young lady that served us was very sweet and tried very hard. She knew that we wouldn’t approve and apologized as she said it down on the table. my husband ordered apple pie. It was very very cold, but it tasted OK. no reason to ever return to this establishment.

My wife's order was made wrong, and had to be remade, our pretzel bites were disappointing, and there was only one person serving the whole restaurant and everything took forever. This was by far the worst visit we have had to BigBoy.

Everyone knows what a Big Boy is. It's like going into any chain restaurant. The one in Muskegon was particularly good with excellent food and good service. I enjoyed my usual Slim Jim - the ham was beaoiled just the way I like it. A small salad with their excellent tomato spice dressing and an unsweetened iced tea completed my meal. Typical but good. Others in my party had a Big Boy burger which he loved and another Slim Jim.
Typical food but good.

They seem to be understaffed, you have to wait forever to be seated. But once you're seated it doesn't take long to get your food

we have been regular customers for awhile now and got to know everyone by there first names. It was so sad to hear of Brian's firing especially infront of the staff?? give me a break where did you go to bosses school. we do understand that some staff quit on the spot in tears. Brian was connected to the staff and customers. so no we understand alot of the other staaf are leaving too!!! well that will me a reduced bussiness which you cannot afford and more lor less the closing soon!! oh well this is the 3 rd resurtrand in this location and won't be the last.. Good luck to all!! it will be a "cold day"when we come back if you are here...

The coffee is like water. French toast was tough. I asked for eggs over hard but got over easy. The server was nice.

Stop in with my wife for dinner tonight and we waited 10 minutes to be seated at witch time server ask about drinks two coffee and water please
20 minutes later we got warm coffee
Server asked about our order I went with pot roast and salad wife chicken pom and coleslaw once we received our salad coleslaw was spoiled
Chicken Pom was noddles and sauce no broccoli in it no garlic bread and was slightly over room temp
My dinner was burnt beef a little bit of gravy on potatoes and bread waited for coffee refill for 15 minutes
Not that they were busy by no means a table of six and a table of two and myself and wife severer just kept apologies for food say it’s just been so slow today
The table of six was sending items back because of temperature of food
Perhaps they don’t want to be in business
And just want to close their business I could have gone to McDonald’s next door and had hot food and better service

I waited 10 minutes for a cup of coffee and still never received it. The staff spent more time just standing around chatting then waiting on customers. Extremely poor service.
