If you love donuts, coffee, or lattes—and enjoy unique breakfast sandwiches like the “Sammi”—Dockside Donuts is an absolute must-visit. This shop isn’t just a place to grab a quick snack; it’s an experience. The donuts are crafted with care and perfection, and the flavors are unlike anything you’ll find at a typical chain.

The shop itself offers both beautiful indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot to relax and truly enjoy your treats. It has a quiet, welcoming vibe, and you can tell this is a hidden gem cherished by locals.

If all you want is a quick sugar fix, there are plenty of gas stations and big-box stores nearby—but if you want something worth going out of your way for, where every bite shows the love and craftsmanship behind it, Dockside Donuts is the place to be. Truly exceptional.

Been stopping by this place every so often when possible the last 2 years. Service is timely, donuts are fresh and delicious. Love their breakfast sandwich with bacon jam (they use their tasty housemade bread on the sandwiches). Staff is always friendly and polite. Very pleasant place to stop by!

They have a wonderful selection of donuts freshly prepared on-site each day. My favorite is the Lumberjack, maple glazed with a bit of custard filling and finished with a sprinkle of crumbled bacon. My 3-year-old grandson loves the samples of the plain donuts. They also have great coffee.

This is a must stop at least 2 times everytime I visit Muskegon. The first time is for me and whoever is lucky enough to join me. Get the breakfast sammy and coffee, it is perfection. The second time is to get a half dozen to share. So crispy and light and fluffy at the same time. They are to good not to spread the joy. Try the plain and the Lumberjack. Stripped down or fully drrssed, you just can not go wrong.

We had a great experience at Dockside. They were very friendly and welcoming. Very cool old building and dining experience. We got an assortment of donuts which were all fantastic. Their iced miel was great and the bacon egg and cheese sammie was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Would absolutely recommend and will be returning.

The peanut butter cup donut was awesome. The nice light creamy peanut butter cream on top with the chocolate coating on the donut made it a great flavor sensation

Visited Dockside Donuts while staying at Safe Harbor Marina next door.
I'd give this place 6 stars if I could.
A shining beacon of excellence in a sea of mediocrity.

Donuts that stand above all other donuts. Thoughtful, focused execution at the highest level.

A griddle with an operator that is both a magician and an artist; the best breakfast sandwich I have ever tasted.

Coffee the likes of which I haven't seen or tasted but for only a few times in life: Smooth, chocolatey, high test and delicious.

Incredibly friendly staff, thoughtful and personable.
Perhaps a testament to the business itself: THE CUSTOMERS ARE FRIENDLY. I cant say if that's a characteristic of Muskegon or of the Donut shop, but I have strong reason to believe its because of the Donut shop.

TLDR Dockside Donuts is a gift from God and it is making the world a better place. They are setting an example that we should all live by.

Lumberjack doughnut...good. Sadly, the gluten destroyed my nose...but, worth the snot fountain on my face! Good coffee, too. Friendly staff.
