Came across this place while doing a job in the area. Been there 5 times now the past year since then. Tomorrow is gonna be my 6th time and I can't wait to try that hashbrown thing. Holy cow! I seen it when I was there a week ago for a job in the area. That is huge and looks fun. I got my co worker (brother) hooked on Papa Bears also now. It's old school and the way I like it.
If you want a down-to-earth breakfast and lunch diner with a wonderful small-town feel, this is the place to go. Everyone who walks through the door is treated just like family. The owners are some of the most welcoming, genuine people I’ve met, and it’s clear they pour their hearts into this business and truly care about their customers. I'd been wanting to try this place for years bc I'd heard about their hash browns. And they disappointed a little.
They weren't awful. I totally see what they're going for and the shock factor is definitely there even if you know what you're in for. Definitely a massive loaded hash brown. However, the ingredients were a bit cheap and didn't seem very fresh. The quality of the cook on the hashbrowns...
