The burger and fries were absolutely fabulous. I had a side of ranch that was obviously homemade. The owner takes a lot of pride in his restaurant and It shows. Absolutely worth the stop!
This place is not fancy, very up north Michigan. But they serve the best deep fried whitefish and the French fries are great also. Lots of ice cream choices too. I wish they were closer,but I would definitely go back if I was in the area.
We arrived 45 minutes before they opened, which broke our hearts as we were driving to Maryland and could not wait. We have stopped here many times and always enjoyed ourselves. The manager said we could come back in 45 minutes but we told her we could not wait that long, so she recommended a nice restaurant for us further down the road.
