“Thank you to the Jackson's Pit staff family! As working travelers, this bar gave us a place to call home while we were in town! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food, of which is fabulous from appetizers to burgers and salads too! The staff is beyond wonderful, so friendly and fun. Wait, I can't forget the locals, they are kind and amazing as well! Just an all around great experience and atmosphere. We hold Kate, Kat & Becca dear in our memories & hearts! Don't want to be social? No fear! You can also choose a table away from the bar, the food is worth it! (So are the drinks, and the pours are good too.) (Can't wait to get my sweatshirt I ordered!!!)“
“My family frequently orders take out from this place. The food is always good and fresh. I wasn’t particularly impressed with their new fish fry though. Seems like maybe it just came frozen feom GFS, not much flavor and the breading was that of a crispy chicken tender. Very friendly staff!“
“First time in the Royal in over 10+ years. What a huge difference! Great job remodeling and the outside porch area is awesome. Bartenders were really nice and all around great place. Definitely recommend to others and will be coming back myself.“

If your lil buddy wasn't served it was because he wasn't legal...if there was no question about his id or he wasn't obviously all ready trashed he would have been served without a problem. If you had a problem at the Rainbow it's because your problem existed before you arrived.“

Smokin'Hubster is all about the popcorn and practically raves about its availability at Smarty's.We first popped in here during the Irontown Classics Car Show. The rain was just starting and we ducked in. The place was rather busy afterward, so I was glad that we scored some seats at the bar.The patrons there are friendly right off the bat (and have been so for every visit afterward). Everyone loves to talk about the sports that are on the TV (there are quite a few TVs at Smarty's!), as well as discuss the area happenings. We have been made to feel welcome, with genuine smiles and greetings every time we walk in.As an NMU Wildcat, I really love that they show the 'Cats in action whenever they're televised. I've really missed being here in the Yoop, so glad to call Smarty's my local watering hole.“
