Catering order for 80+ people on vacation. Ordered prime rib, roast chicken, chicken strips, farm to table garden salad, potato salad, dinner rolls, mac n cheese, roasted vegetables, and cupcakes. Every item was homemade and delicious, and pickup was timely with everything packaged securely and ready to go. This was the best prime rib we have ever eaten! Disappointing experience. We loved Skip’s when we were visiting the area 2 years ago so we were looking forward to going again this trip. We went for my mom’s birthday tonight. When we walked in there was no one at the host stand, apparently she was performing double duty as host and bartender. Staying in the area for our anniversary and was looking for a great place to eat.
So glad we chose Skips. We don’t splurge often so we were both very happy! The food was outstanding, and our server, Ava was friendly and accommodating. I had the rosemary garlic chicken and my husband had the prime rib.
Can definitely see why it’s stood the test of time! Would come back in a heartbeat if in the area again.
