I have been coming for almost a year now and it never disappoints!! Bartenders can make pretty much anything you request!! And they are an absolute pleasure to chat with and be around, highly recommend a pickle back shot, lemon drop martini, cocktails from their main menu, ect… honestly anything u get here is amazing!! I’ve tried things I’ve never had and always been happy!!!

Our mixologists were great! Loved what they were doing while creating our cocktails. Very friendly and welcoming. We tried a couple cocktails and I also had a nice rare craft beer from Upland Brewing out of Columbus, IN. Stop in and get something different and adventurous!

What an incredible hidden gem! The False Front, tucked away inside David’s Delicatessen & Coffee, offers a truly unique experience. By day, it’s a cozy deli serving delicious breakfast, lunch, coffee, and sandwiches. But after 6 PM, it transforms into an amazing speakeasy with a bar that slides into place—such a cool concept!
It was our first time in New Buffalo, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Our bartender, David, was fantastic! We later learned he was just filling in, but you’d never know—his drinks were expertly crafted, and he made us feel so welcome. He even gave us some great local recommendations, including Tom Cat, which we’re excited to try.
The other bartender was equally amazing and clearly knew her stuff. The vibe, the creativity, and the service here are unmatched. For a truly one-of-a-kind experience, we highly recommend The False Front!

Parking: Plenty of spots, just got to look around à bit and incorporate into a walk around town.
This is a great spot for a delicious cocktail. Alex was our bartender and she was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend ordering a mezcal cocktail from her. Overall this is a great bar in New Buffalo and will be returning with family.
