The girl behind the counter was polite and took it upon herself to get the manager to see about a discount for the confusion/wait time for new pizzas. To which he seems happy to oblige.

“On Wednesday night I ordered a chicken, bacon, ham baked sub. On Thursday morning I was at my granddaughters school, and I was in so much pain, got home and threw up what I ate the night before. Mind you all that I had to eat was the sub, it is Saturday at 10:37 pm, and I am still sick. Throwing up, and 💩 is not fun, on top of that add the stomach pains which are on a scale of 30. I will no longer be ordering from hungry Howie's again. I do need to add, I have never had any issues with this store before.“

“Amazing place, amazing pizza, amazing staff and owner! If you have a dairy allergy, or are vegan, this place has the BEST nondairy cheese and ranch, as well as vegan pepperoni. This area does not have a lot of restaurants thats accommodate non-dairy requests. Honestly their vegan bread sticks are better than most normal cheese bread sticks I have ever had. Its just a really high quality pizza place overall, couldn’t recommend this place more!“

I got the spicy ricotta and the experience from that one pizza alone is enough for me to know I could throw at dart at the menu and no matter what STILL get a great pizza , better than most in the area , and for the price you can’t beat it… at all .“

“Large carry out order (by large I mean 40+) placed on a Saturday night! Lexi over the phone was wonderful. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and accurate above all else. Order was delivered within quoted time, driver was very personable and order was labeled and perfect. Plates and silverware were provided at a perfect estimated number!! “No issues here! First time here and everything was great from start to finish. Got the family special and it was plenty of food for four with leftovers. The counter girl was very friendly and got all the dressings correct for the salad and bread sticks. The pizza was cooked perfectly and so was the cheese bread. We ordered from here because we had a gift card and will definitely order from here more frequently.“

My friends and I did a blind taste test with this pizza and another well known Detroit style pizza place , and to my surprise Cloverleaf was a 8 to 1 winner. The staff was friendly at the Chesterfield location and had me in and out in minutes.“

“Some of the best pizza I've had from around the entire US. And I've had pizza from over 35 states. A local shop that treats their customers right, makes great pizzas at a very reasonable price and their pizzas are very big. They make other food as well though I can only speak to their pizza.

“I ended up ordering Hungry Howies Pizza off of 23 & Romeo Plank about 3 weeks ago (January 21st of this year). It was actually before 1:00 pm we picked it up. The pizza tasted fresh. The Pepsi Wild Cherry soda 20 oz wasn't expensive (luckily). The service was amazing. I will definitely order from this location again.

I’ve tried almost every pizza chain & to me this place is hands down. You want good pizza & subs then come here. They have all your party favorites. I’ve met the owners & they are very nice. “Great place for date night! Walking in, the ambience reminded me of South Beach Miami - contemporary, pop latino music, low lighting... and love the individual tabletop lamps.

Chips are homemade daily and passed our initial criteria of good start! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the steak fajitas and had more than plenty to enjoy for lunch the next day. I tried what was recommended by the owner Chris - the beef Quesabirria. A new twist of a "taco" for me. Tender corn tortillas stuffed generously with juicy short rib beef. I like the extra spice, so a generous side of fresh jalapeno was also supplied at my request. For me, this was an easier dish to eat with a fork & take advantage of a quick dip into the side beef consomme. Excellent suggestion - would order this again.

We wanted to watch college football and there were plenty of large TVs within the bar area... as well as scattered about the dining room.
