“We went to Denny’s New Lothrop Tavern for the first time Friday night (04/26). The food was great ! We started with the pulled pork nachos as an appetizer (we were warned that it was big), and it was great ! I then had the Icelandic cod fish and chips. It was cooked to perfection, light, moist, and with perfect batter. The staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back !”

I showed her proof and she got in my face demanded to see my bank transactions which I showed her. she snatched my dying moms food and ripped it up with her hands (my mom went hungry) After I threatened to call the police she gave me $10 back after throwing at me Never go here spend your money Somewhere else”

“Ive been coming to this place quite a bit recently to play pool with my boyfriend and the vibe is always Amazing. Strong drinks, great food, and very friendy staff. The only down side is the pool table is kinda close to the wall. Will definitely continue to return.”

Cinnamon sugar & plain donuts, my favorite cider around sweet but not tart, pumpkins, goards, butternut & acorn squash, honey, jams, salsas, popcorn & the most friendly staff ! Literally stop on in to get your fall fix ! I also loved how it was roomy enough for my double stroller as well as the kindest/cutest lil furbabies to greet you !”

“We had the best time last night here! We hosted my daughter's surprise 30th birthday party. They kept up with our big group with a new cook! Food was awesome! Waitresses were awesome! Special shout out to the new one that helped me cover the tables (missed her name & she had to leave), & Taylor. Taylor was by far one of the BEST waitresses we've ever had! Thank you to the staff & management for accommodating our rowdy group!!💕💕”

“Took a bunch of people with disabilities here for work. Was worried I would see the employees seem annoyed or irritated. The two who were working were amazing, very respectful so kind and patient. They were making jokes and having a good time with our people and it was greatly appreciated.They were very accommodating too, my coworkers and I forgot to grab a water bottle to pass a medication, but they let us know that they offered cups of water for free. Two of the best employees, have had friends in food service who didn't treat me so well.”

“Thank you! being new to flushing and Michigan (relocated from west coast) in general I have been disappointed in the dining and nightlife options. I get its a small town but man I wasn't prepared for the lack of options. A co-worker recommended I check out jack's place, when he told be where it was I thought to myself I drive by there everyday to and from work never new it was there. When i walked in i felt immediately at home, the place has a modern and clean design feel. but i was a bit apprehensive because this is flushing, and time seems to have stopped at 2002 in the city. i sat and the bar and asked for a menu and a beer list, no beer list but the bartender did point out alot of crafty and cool beers, the ipa heads out there, your covered. he also gave me a cocktail menu which had a couple of craft cocktails, which was a nice surprise, I ordered an old fashion and it was spot on. the dinner menu has a nice variety of options especially for a bowling alley, i ordered the seared ahi tacos and they were really good and being from california i know my fish tacos. I did read reviews before coming in and understood some of the issues, the place does need a little more color or some sort of art work on the walls. and kitchen and service needs to be worked on, but overall its by far the best place in town and i have been to all them. Its a place i can take my kids and have an adult experience at the same time. And it's nice to see that someone took the time and the risk to help bring flushing into 2020, i hope it will provide hope to other proprietors to update downtown.”
