Mummy Lue African Food Reviews
Definitely worth the drive from Dowagiac, MI to South Bend. The food is SPECTACULAR the flavors are AMAZING 🤩 totally recommend!
Some of the best food I have ever eaten. The jollof rice is absolutely delicious, and the chuck rice and gravy is probably one of the best meals I've ever had.
The menu items may seem pricey but they give you a very large portion of food. I'm a big eater, and I always have leftovers.
If you love spicy food you will love the way they traditionally cook the food, but if you would like it less spicy you can ask.
I ordered the jerk chicken, but got the chicken and rice I believe. It was fantastic!! The rice was excellent. The chicken was super good. The plantains and potato salad were awesome. Can’t wait to try the jerk chicken. Can’t wait to go back!!

Mummy Lue African Food offers some of the best meals, including delicious jollof rice and fantastic chicken and rice. Portions are large, satisfying even big eaters and leaving leftovers. The restaurant is known for its spicy traditional cooking but can adjust for those who prefer less heat. Despite being a bit hard to find, the yummy food and great service make it a favorite in South Bend.
