Dune Bird is such a vibey spot and totally different from any other winery. A total must-visit, and every corner is perfect for photos with staff who are just so cool (Shoutout to Sarah, Jen & Lily)!

Dune Bird Winery is an awesome place with an equally awesome staff. It’s very family-friendly, with a welcoming, relaxed environment that makes everyone feel at home. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also love their commitment to sustainable farming practices—it really shows how much care they put into the land and their wines. Highly recommend!

Felt like we were sitting inside of a Hallmark movie. Very nice winery. Good wine. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere!

This was a super cool spot that I had never been to. I have gone to TC and Leelenau several times, but I assume this place is newer based on the decor and the fact that I had never heard of it. So, I had to make a stop for at least one.
The decor was awesome - I honestly am not sure why they had an airplane theme throughout the building, but it looked very cool. I couldnt help myself but to check out every room/seating area because I wanted to see all of the decor.
There was a ton of seating - indoors, outdoors, in separate rooms, by a fireplace, near a pond, at the bar, in comfy seating, or at tables.
The lady pouring the wine was super friendly, told us all about the place, about the wine. They even have a small espresso menu!!
I only tasted two wines, a red and a rosé, and they were both good!
Sadly, there were only a few couples there, and that was it. It was such a cool place, that I am hoping they are busier at some point!

We LOVED this place. It was beautiful with great views, a huge duck flock and free range chickens who looked plump and healthy. The tasting room was clean and modern with Napa Vibes. Finally, the wine was good. It was not terribly sweet and a great selection of dry options. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful setting by the pond, and the wine is actually good! Freeze dried liver treats for the dogs, (but not in the building. ) Generous charcuterie board and really nice people. If you get to meet Jase you're in for a treat!

Lovely setting.

Good wine, my husband liked the dry wines but it was not my favorite winery out of the ones we stopped at. Pretty views, good set ups, and a CAT!

Was new to my Traverse City wine adventures and it wound up being a winner. Good wines, I reccommend the Pink Plover

Nice place, live music got me here then the dry riesling kept me here.

We had a lovely afternoon visit with friends. We tasted six different wines and liked them all. We enjoyed the whitefish dip and spinach artichoke snacks, also the very interesting and tasty olives! The Indian runner duck round up was fun to see, and Ron the cat was very polite. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We hated to leave our idyllic spot by the pond. The highlight, though, was the staff. Every person we encountered was fun, friendly and knowledgeable.

Adorable place both inside and out, but I could have gone without the wine.

Our starting point on our Leelanau wine tour, and our most favorite also. Michigan wines tend to be on the sweeter side and we prefer a medium dry wine. GHV had a nice blend of both. The building is decorated beautifully and the seating area put by the water is adorable. Def recommend a stop here on your tour!
