Fischer's Happy Hour Tavern

Fischer's locally known simply as "Happy Hour" is an absolute gem. Family owned it has an old townie feel to it, nothing fancy but everything works. The service is top notch, and extremely friendly. I love going to Happy Hour because it just feels so cozy, you don't find places like this anymore. Can't recommend it enough!

I enjoy coming here everytime I come up to Leland. I got an amazing chicken sandwich with green beans and a salad. I also suggest the fried chicken as well. Clean, child friendly, have an old fashioned pacman video game. The staff are friendly and bathrooms are clean. Check to see when open since in September I believe they are just open Monday thru Wednesday till 9pm. So I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Kid-friendliness: Do provide high chairs, but not sure about booster seats. There is a pac man video game for kids to play depending on their age.

We had our reception dinner at Fischer's Happy Hour Tavern. Kristi helped us get everything set and their restaurant was that perfect small town bar/diner feel. They made us all feel like part of the family and were so accommodating. The food was wonderful! I would lie if I said I didn't sample a little of everything. The broasted chicken and fried fish were some of my favorites!! Thank you for the wonderful evening!!!!

Happy Hour since I've been going since 1970 was most excellent Again!! Brittany was Fantastic!!! The food was beyond exceptional! The Clams and The Broasted Chicken is by Far the best in the 5 county area! Kristi cooked up a fabulous dinner! Lynn W.

A leelanau county gem of an OG tavern. I’ve been eating here since before I can remember, I loved this place as a kid and now my kids love it also, pretty cool! It’s out in the sticks a bit but the drive there and back is beautiful!

This place is about a good old’ up north tavern/ inn as you can get! The portions are very generous, the staff is cheerful and kind, and the building is really cool. I recommend one of the burgers. The burgers come with a very complete tray of toppings. I can’t wait to come back!
