Green Bird Organic Cellars & Farm

This was our last stop of the day and we arrived 15 minutes before they closed. The owner was behind the bar and treated us like we were friends and seemed genuinely interested in talking to us. We ended up leaving with a couple bottles of their amazing empire cider. We'll be back in the future to do a tour. Don't miss out on this gem!

What a enjoyable time we had at Green Bird! I place high value on organic foods and sustainable farming so when I saw this winery on the map on the way to the lighthouse in Northport, I knew we had to stop. There were 4 adults and 2 kids in our group and we all had something we enjoyed. The kids we able to feed the chickens and sheep and play on the tractor while the adults had a delightful cheese board and a drink. The cider and sangria were excellent! They also offered kid friendly snacks, and moms know this means a lot! The grounds were so beautiful and quiet. We left with a few bag fulls of goodies too. Tim, the owner, was so personable and treated us like old friends. We are so glad we stopped!

A true hidden gem. The wines and ciders were delicious and Betsy was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing B & B and winery

This place was totally fabulous. Wonderful selection of dryer wines (which I prefer) and super knowledgeable owner who taught us so much about wines, the winemaking process and helped us figure out our preferences. Beyond that, their ciders are some of the best I’ve ever had and their farm animals are super cute. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Great winery. Betsy was wonderful. Top quality wines. We visit TC once/year. This was our 1st visit to Green Bird. We'll be back, EVERY year forever more! Do not miss this place!!Martin n Melissa

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The bartender is the owner and is on point about flavors and recommendations! Love the atmosphere, bathrooms, wine, cider, and snacks!

Hit the jackpot when we found this amazing place. I’ve tried a lot of wine and they make one of my all time favorite. I wish I could keep all the Concord Rose for myself.

Very friendly and welcoming staff

This place is 10/10 worth visiting! We did a farm tour and tasting with Tim, and it was great from start to finish. We are pretty picky about wine, but enjoyed everything we tried. Not usually a big fan of cider, but theirs is fantastic and something I would definitely purchase. We will definitely be back again.

Their Empire cider is one of my top tasting ciders ?

On our recent trip to TC, we set out on a mission to visit the wineries that weren't typically seen in a wine tour. We were pleased to have stumbled upon this wonderful vineyard. Upon entering, the place is real chill. We immediately were greeted and encouraged to walk around the vineyard. We were able to watch the staff smash the grapes, and we happened to make good friends with the local chickens in the area. Great tour guides. I loved the "fresher" version of a Sangria here and just the vibe in general. It's definitely a unique experience and a place we will return to.

Cute organic farm and winery. George was a great conversationalist and conservator of the Leelanau area. The ciders were amazing! We tried three and took two bottles to go. We will be back!
