About ATHIDHI INDIAN CUISINE

ATHIDHI INDIAN CUISINE is a place where the masalas are perfectly blended, rich in aroma, and cooked to perfection. Each dish bursts with bold, fresh, and flavorful tastes. The food is awesome, especially the goat ghee roast biryani, chicken 555, and Paneer Biryani Mughlai. The chef is amazing and the food is crafted with care. The staff are very kind, though the service can sometimes be disorganized. This restaurant will leave you completely satisfied and eager to come back. Many recent reviews mention that the restaurant now offers good Indian food in Northville, with a lively atmosphere, especially during special events like the Thanksgiving Buffet. The buffet included dishes like Chicken Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Okra masala, Goat curry, Potato & Peas Curry, Sambar Rice, Plain pulav, Chicken Biryani, Pakodas, Veg Manchurian, Tandoori Chicken, and desserts like Fruit Custard. Customers also praise the great mutton biryani, both the mutton dum biryani and mutton pepper fry biryani, which are favorites among those from Hyderabad. The owner is friendly, often checking on guests, making it a good spot for a casual Indian meal. While some feel the food is not quite like a home-cooked meal and that many dishes use chicken thigh meat, it is a good place for an occasional meal or takeout.

While this little gem is tucked away in a quiet little strip mall on the edge of Northville, the smells of India when I walked in got me ready for a delicious meal. The chef did not disappoint with a delicious spicy goat pepper biryani and chili/garlic naan bread. The portions were large and I walked away with enough for breakfast. Service was quick and polite. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
I stopped her for the first time to have chana/chole batura for lunch. This is one of my favorite dishes, and it was served piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Aachar and onions on the side was a nice touch. The waiter was prompt, courteous, and attentive. I was shocked to have enough leftover for another meal, especially considering the price was a few dollars lower than other local Indian restaurants. The place is a bit out of the way, and looked a bit run down—paint...read full review
