Small apatizers, not much ambience and the service was good but they didn't do any performance. And we dint get any popcorn

RIP-OFF!!First came a "soup" that was only a few drops of soy sauce in water, complete with a razor-thin slice of raw mushroom on top.Steak that we ordered was very hard. Nothing that we ate was authentic at all. Only saving grace was the sushi, but if you're looking for something good and legitimately authentic, look elsewhere. Don't even consider this place.I gave them one star because it was some of the worst, most low-effort "food" I've ever had. If I could give this place a 0, I would. Stay the Hell away.

Horrible experience. From hostess, BARTENDER (horrible guy), servers and Habachi cook… the best service we had all night was from the busser. This place was empty on a Thursday and still had horrible service! This facility was recommended to us as a “fun night” for a birthday celebration and was an unfortunate disaster. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are many other habachi grills in the SE Michigan area that are much cheaper with much better food.
It was good, the chef was awesome but it was just like every other hibachi restaurant around. ??♀️nothing to really rave about
This restaurant went from being my favorite Hibachi and sushi spot to my least favorite. Nothing but horrible experiences for the last year. NOT A SINGLE PERSON HERE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Why do I know the menu better than the staff? What is going on! I ordered the $65 sushi platter that comes with 8 sushi rolls, they only gave me 4 rolls. And the 4 rolls they gave me they made wrong? What the heck…… I wouldn’t be surprised if they went out of business soon because nobody wants to eat here anymore. Lazy, lazy, lazy staff.
This place had some major staffing issues. The food was okay, nothing really impressed me. It definitely felt a bit rushed. Decent ingredients.
The biggest issue was the complete lack of servers and help at the table. The hostess did a great job customer service wise and gave us some stuff off the bill. It was the right move.
I've never experienced overhearing so many apologies to customers.
It's not "no one wants to work anymore". It's no one wants to be an overworked servant anymore. If this place is having trouble with staff, wake up and start treating people with respect.

Don’t bother making a reservation. Unfortunately, if you do find yourself reading this review while your proactive friends reserve a table, make sure the entire party and the president is with you as they will NOT seat you. Seems like a punishment to make a reservation. Upon completing their fascinating Conversations, the 4 hostesses/ hosts will cram you with screaming children and another family. Would NOT RECOMMEND for any special occasions such as your birthday.
Really wanted this to be a good experience as I heard good things, but honestly the service here is awful. There are other places you can go to instead.
My Girlfriend made a reservation for Friday 9/23/22 at 8:30p.m. Walked in at 8:32 with two families in front of us, were told 20-30mins for hibachi seating and a 5min wait for a booth. We agreed to a booth and were told 5min, until were dragged into a hibachi table to which we did not agree to after a 35min wait. Took the server 15min to take drink orders and how hard is it to deliver water and 2 special drinks (he didnt even know what items that were on the menu) after placing the order, numerous servers where pointing to our table and were talking about us our server included, only got 1 round of drinks and never a refill after waiting 25mins on drinks. Server came back and asked if anyone took our order (HES OUR SERVER) didnt understand half the menu and didnt know what came with the combos, not to mention after he wrote our orders we never saw him again little did we know he left. Flat out left us without telling anyone else. So we had to ask another waitress for our orders, at this point one family already left. At 9:53 (our reservation was at 8:30 how bad is that) the hibachi chef that came out didnt even know our orders. However, the chef was very kind and if it wasnt for him we wouldve walked out. Food was mediocre and slightly cold and when I asked for white rice they told me they ran out. They offered desert to make up for it which they forgot until I mentioned as we were leaving. Finally the manager came out and apologized for the service, when we got the receipts there was no discount and called her over again that's when coincidently the manager said "oh, the server didnt give you the new receipt, I applied a discount" she gave it to us she should've known about giving us the right one, seems like they wanted us to pay full price without realizing. Came there for my birthday, was very disappointed, not even mad just had the worst experience of my life, would never recommend to anyone.
Used to come here frequently and always had an amazing experience. Last night was my first time since 2019. It didn’t seem like there was a manager at all and it felt like it was everyone’s first day. Seems like the pandemic hit this place especially hard. It’s a shame to see management leave their staff out to dry like that. This is an ownership and management issue, not a service issue. Everyone tried their best with ZERO support.
This was by far the absolute worst dining experience and service I have ever received in my entire life. Made a reservation for 7:30, were not seated til 7:40ish (the restaurant was NOT full or even HALF full). It took the server almost a FULL hour before she greeted us and that is after she saw us and walked past us multiple times. It took an additional 20-25 mins for drinks(2 waters, 1 pop, 1 iced tea, 2 beers) We then order an appetizer (bad move, should have left at this point). After waiting another 20 some minutes, we receive the appetizer, I ask for plates, she agrees and then never brings them. At this point, we have waited long enough and have finished it before she even returns. Order our food, 2 hibachi entrees, 8 rolls of sushi and some dumplings. Wait another 30 minutes for the hibachi entrees and they sre LUKE WARM, steak &shrimp LUKE WARM, but don't fret THE FRIED RICE WAS HOT ?. Oh the sushi? Yeah they "lost the ticket, it never printed" now that's another almost 30 minutes, the hibachi entrees are now finished when they bring the sushi out. They did not offer chopsticks or soy sauce or even dishes for the sauce. So we ate with forks and our fingers ?. We never received or were asked about refills or another round until we pointed out to a different employee that multiple glasses were empty. Sushi arrives, the RAW sushi was WARM and the COOKED sushi was cold, how can you even say you made this JUST NOW, when it clearly had been SITTING. At this time, we had spoke to who we were assuming was the "lead server or MOD", they told us the bill would be heavily discounted for the RUDE and non-existent service. This poor girl was from the Saginaw location and only filling in, she apologized profusely. Unlike our server whose attitude remained untouched and never admitted fault, informed of us mistakes or accidents, and spoke to us like we just walked out of a 3rd Grade classroom. We had to ask for boxes (for 4 separate people) she offered us 2 boxes, and informed her we all didn't live in the same house and would require 4 boxes for the 4 people who still had food left. She brought them back and the check we asked for, the check had no discount and that veggie dumpling we never received was still.oj there, along with a 20% gratuity when the menu just states an 18% gratuity. Had to find ANOTHER employee yet again to have the bill fixed, at this time the server comes huffing over, "they said you wanted to talk about your bill" and i reply, " you're the manager?? I asked for the manager" "she's busy, what do you need?" And told her what WE WERE TOLD. She takes it and then comes back "here you go" and we look at it, 20% discount and 18% gratuity (added on before discount). We paid and left. We were there for 2.5 hours. Never got to speak to an actual manager, they were NOT understaffed unless saying you dont have a food runner to run food for the 10 tables in the restaurant or you cant be bothered to run your own food, there was enough staff. Tonight you served a bar manager and 2 servers with an accumulated 32 years experience in the restaurant industry. Oh and it was somebody's birthday tonight, mentioned multiple times, he is extremely disappointed. So thank you for making such a GREAT (SARCASM) day for him.
