While it can take a while to get your food, I've never been disappointed with the food here. It's delicious with several options including vegetarian meals. I try to stop by when I'm in town and want delicious Indian food. Try all of it and you will love it too.
The food here is amazing! Very authentic. We had ghee podi idli, sambar idli, rava dosa and chicken curry-malabar parotta combo. The sambar was very well made (always a Hallmark of a good south Indian restaurant), and the chicken curry was the authentic kind!
I’ve been going to Masala in Novi for several years. Large and diverse menu that they really deliver on. (Many places fall flat: too many items to manage well. Not so here.)
The South Lyon location is the star: bigger, nicer, albeit still a fast casual design. The good news is that this location is now doing specials each weekend. And they nail it. My knowledge of Indian cuisine is reasonably good but virtually everything on the special menu was new to me. What a discovery....
